SKIN FEAST MASK

What it does:

Soaks up excess oil, balances oil production, hydrates, soothes

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. brown rice flour

0.5 avocado

1 tbsp. apple juice (fresh-pressed, if possible)

 

Instructions:

Step 1: In a small bowl, mashed avocado w. a fork & sprinkle in rice flour, stirring until you’ve created a paste.

Step 2: Add apple juice & stir well.                

Step 3: Apply mask & allow to dry for best results. Rinse w. warm water.

OIL BALANCING MASK

What It does:

Balance oil production, brightens, exfoliates.

 

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. homemade mayonnaise (or organic, if you want to use a store-bought version)

1 tbsp. orange juice (fresh is ideal)

2 tbsp. corn flour

 

Instructions:

Step 1: In a small bowl, stir together all three ingredients slowly, making sure to fully incorporate corn flour into wet ingredients.

Step 2: Apply w. your fingers & let dry.

Step 3: Rinse off

DESSERT MASK

What it does:

Repairs & prevents cell damage, clears up blemishes, moisturizes

 

Ingredients:

4 tsp. cocoa powder

0.5 tps. Sea salt

2 tsp. olive oil

 

Instructions:

Step 1: Mix cocoa powder & sea salt in a small bowl, then stir in olive oil to create a paste.

Step 2: Apply w. your fingers & leave on for as long as you’d like.

Step 3: Rinse carefully – this make will stain a washcloth.              

 

CHAMOMILE OATMEAL BATH SOAK

Ingredients:

1 C oatmeal

0.25 C chamomile flowers

 

Directions:

Step 1: Put oatmeal & dried flowers through a food processor or coffee grinder to create finest pieces possible.

Step 2: Add 0.5-1 C to a warm bath to soothe & moisturize dry, irritated skin.

Step 3: Store in an airtight container, like a mason jar or hinge-top canister, to keep fresh.

 

SWEET ORANGE COCONUT BODY CREAM

Ingredients

1 C coconut oil

4 tsp. vitamin E oil

10 drops sweet orange essential oil

 

Directions

Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2: Using electric beater or a stand-up mixer, whip ingredients together until fluffy.

Step 3: Transfer into an airtight container & store in a cool, dry place to prevent coconut oil from liquifying.

 

 

ORGANIC BROWN SUGAR HONEY FACIAL SCRUB

Ingredients:

0.5 C organic honey

0.5 C organic brown sugar

 

Directions:

Step 1: Hand stir ingredients until mixed thoroughly.

Step 2: Store in an airtight container & keep in a cool, dry place.

 

METABOLISM BOOSTER SMOOTHIE

What it does:

Wake up your sleepy metabolism w. this yum smoothie – a perfect way to start your day!

 

Ingredients:

0.5 C strong brewed green tea

0.25 C coconut milk

1 C pineapple (frozen)

1 unripe banana (frozen in quarters)

1 large grapefruit (peeled, chopped & frozen)

70 g spinach, frozen (you can use fresh, but smoothie won’t be as thick)

4-5 large ice cubes

10g plain whey protein (or favorite protein powder)

 

Directions:

Step 1: Add liquids first, then rest of ingredients to a blender.

Step 2: Blend well, until greens are well blended into your smoothie. If you don’t like your smoothie thick, add more liquid or omit the ice
